This page explains what we collect when you use propertytaxappealnow.com, why, and what you can do about it. We keep it short and plain.
Who we are
Property Tax Appeal Now is run by Mind, a sole trader registered in Vilnius, Lithuania (individual activity). We're responsible for your data. Contact: hello@propertytaxappealnow.com.
What we collect
- Free check: your email, your home's address, and (if you give it) your home's assessed value.
- Purchases: your name, email, home address, and what you bought. Card details go straight to Stripe. We never see or store them.
- Emails you send us and our replies.
- Basic visit data: pages viewed, rough location (city level), device type, and which ad or link brought you here. We use this to see which ads work.
Why we use it
- To do the free check and make your packet. This is the service you asked for.
- To email you your result, your packet, and reminders about filing deadlines for your home. You can unsubscribe from reminders anytime.
- To keep records for tax and accounting, as the law requires.
- To measure and improve our ads and website.
We use public property records and public sales data to compare your home with similar homes. We don't sell your data, and we don't share it with anyone for their own marketing.
Who helps us
We use these companies to run the service. They handle data only on our instructions:
- Cloudflare: website hosting and email forwarding
- Formspree: receives the free-check form
- Stripe: payments, receipts and sales tax
- Loops: sends our emails
- Google: ads and ad measurement, and email (Gmail)
Some of these companies store data in the United States. Where data leaves the EU, they use the standard legal safeguards (EU Standard Contractual Clauses or the EU–US Data Privacy Framework).
How long we keep it
- Free check only, no purchase: up to 2 years, so we can remind you about next year's filing window. Unsubscribe and we stop.
- Purchases: 10 years, because Lithuanian accounting rules require it.
Your rights
You can ask us to show, correct, or delete your data, or to stop emailing you. Just email hello@propertytaxappealnow.com. We answer within 30 days. If you're in the EU, you can also complain to the Lithuanian State Data Protection Inspectorate (vdai.lrv.lt). California residents have the same rights to know, correct and delete, and we never sell or share personal information for cross-context advertising beyond the ad measurement described above.
Cookies
We use a small number of cookies to measure ads (Google). Stripe uses its own cookies on the checkout page to prevent fraud. We don't use cookies for anything else.
Children
This service is for homeowners. We don't knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.
Changes
If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top.
